Special Gift!
Finished up these beautiful horse themed pens donated by pennstateindustries for flintcreekranch and leonash4693.
Using cuttoffs from a previous project meant working with really small blanks. But using horizontal boring on my shopsmith worked perfectly.
After getting the tubes in and roughing out the blank on my shopsmith sander it was over to the lathe. Literally, justnoveer to the other side of my shopsmith.
For these special pens I could only trust my tried and true finish system of starbondadhesives speed series followed by medium. Final polish and sneak peak at the finished product.
